Biography

Phil Ashby is an experienced freelance editor based in East London. He's been editing professionally since 2002, and in that time has worked on many broadcast projects including a BAFTA-winning series for the BBC, and numerous primetime productions for ITV, Channel 4, Five, Sky TV, and Discovery.

His main experience is in documentaries and factual entertainment, although he has a wide range of experience of genres, including comedy, pop-culture features and music-based features, as well as adverts, idents and music videos.

He is dedicated, pro-active, and extremely competent in his role both technically and creatively, taking pride in making sure the end product fits the brief. He enjoys his work immensely, and this is reflected in his attitude and approach to new projects.
